Warranty
Quality and Company Inc. Products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery. During this warranty period, Quality and Company Inc. will repair or at its option will replace, free of charge, such merchandise as shall prove to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence or abuse. Textiles, leathers, and powder coat finishes are not warranted against fading, wear or marking since it is beyond Quality and Company Inc.'s control. All other warranties (including warranty of fitness whether by law, implied or expressed, or otherwise) are hereby excluded.
Delivery
Quality and Company Inc. is not liable for delay or failure to deliver due to strikes, lockouts, or other labour difficulties, failure or delay at sources of supply, transportation difficulties, accidents, fire, wars, riot, compliance with government regulations, or acts of God.
Freight
Freight is available to 10 Provinces in Canada, and 50 mainland States. All shipments are to have freight prepaid, and use Quality and Company's carrier unless otherwise specified. Should another carrier be advised by the client, shipments will be freight collect at customers expense.
Storage
If customer will not accept delivery when goods are ready to ship in accordance with Quality and Company Inc.'s order confirmation, Quality and Company Inc. reserves the right to transfer goods to storage at customers risk and expense. Quality and Company deems such transfer as delivery for all purposes including invoicing and payment.
Claims
Quality and Company Inc. is not responsible for damage suffered in transit or storage. Customer must examine merchandise upon receipt and note any obvious damage on carriers delivery receipt. Damage, which becomes apparent when the merchandise is unpacked, should be reported to the carrier as soon as discovered. The customer must make all claims against Quality and Company Inc. for defects, errors or shortages within ten (10) days after any delivery. Failure to make such claims shall constitute full acceptance of the merchandise.
Approvals
Quality and Company Inc. reserves the right to reject COM fabrics that, in Quality's opinion, are unsuitable. Once COM has been accepted, Quality assumes no responsibility for its overall appearance, flammability, normal durability, color fastness or any other quality after upholstered on a Quality and Company Inc. product.
Yardage Requirements
Yardage requirements are based on 54" width plain material. If fabric is less than 54" please apply the following additional yardages: 49" - 52" Add 10%44" - 48" Add 15% Less than 44" please consult factory. If fabric is 54" wide with repeat, please apply the following additional yardages: Repeat 5" or under - noted Repeat 6" - 12" - Add 10% to yardage required. Repeat 12" - 20" - Add 15% to yardage required. Repeat 21" - or over - Add 20% to yardage required. Upholstery of all vinyls will be charged at COL price. ALL STRIPES WILL BE APPLIED VERTICAL UNLESS CUSTOMER SPECIFIES OTHERWISE.
Customer's Own Leather (COL)
Quality and Company Inc. will not accept nor use any painted leathers. Painted leather is described as any suede or full top grain leather, which is not vat dyed with the same color through the entire hide. For COL square footage is required, please note heading by individual product in price list. Where COL hide is less than 30 square feet per hide. Please consult factory for COL requirements.
Flammability Standards
Where product is required to meet specific flammability codes, please contact our office with information. Quality and Company Inc. will determine whether the product can be manufactured to meet requirements. If specific codes in question, a price quotation will be prepared.
Wood Finishes
Quality and Company Inc. will match any finish you desire. Send us a sample of the finish required with your order, and we will be glad to assist you. There is a small charge for high gloss lacquer finishes. Lead times from the factory will be based on receipt of this finish, and not the order, or the COM.
Glides
Molded nylon glides are standard equipment for all soft seating pieces, unless the standard configuration of the product includes show-wood detail.
